So, in a time where governmental spending is out of control and taxpayers across the nation are increasingly fed up with the current administration, letters are being mailed out to households to inform them that they will soon be receiving their Census packet in the mail. How stupid is this? How much money is being wasted to send you a piece of mail telling you that you will be getting another piece of mail? Here’s a novel idea, Washington - instead of raising taxes on everything that exists, how about if you eliminate wasteful spending?

Every now and then, I wander over to the People of Walmart site just to see what new weirdness has been submitted there. Always entertaining, I must say, though seeing such sights raises a few questions. Why is it that very large people seem to feel a need to expose large amounts of bare skin? I know that some folks will no doubt feel that this is a mean question, but I never promised to be nice and, after all, if folks are going to appear in public in particular ways, aren’t they then subject to public opinions being aired. Is it something in their psyche that has an overwhelming need to show the rest of us just how large they really are? Why do they insist on squeezing large amounts of flesh into tiny articles of clothing? And what’s with the super low-cut tops or tube tops (which I thought had gone out of style more than twenty years ago? Aaarrgghhh! What has been seen cannot be unseen…
